# Set up an event

An event form sells tickets with a date and a limit per ticket type. Sales close when the seats are full, and each guest gets a scannable pass for Apple or Google Wallet.

### Create the event

Click **Forms**, then **New form**, and choose **Event**. You can also go to **Forms → Events** and click **New event**. See Create a form.

### Set the date, venue, and capacity

1. Open the event and click the **Settings** tab.
2. Under **Event details**, set the **Date**, **Time zone**, **Venue**, and **Capacity**.
3. Click **Save event details**.

### Add ticket types

1. Click the **Tickets** tab.
2. Click **New ticket type** and fill in the details.

The **Ticket types** table shows each type's **Name**, **Status** (for example On sale), **Sold** (for example "1 of 30 sold"), and **Price**.

To show tickets on the event page, add the **Tickets** block in the designer (**Actions → Edit design**).

### Design the Wallet pass

1. Click the **Wallet pass** tab.
2. Click **Add** in each section to add fields: **Header fields** (top right, up to 4), **Primary fields** (main content, up to 2), **Secondary** (up to 4), and **Back** (up to 8). A section with no fields is left off the pass.
3. Pick a **Background** preset.
4. Check the **Apple** and **Google** previews.
5. Click **Save pass design**. **Reset to default** starts over.

Use these tokens in any field. Each one fills in for every guest:

- `{{organizationName}}`
- `{{eventName}}`
- `{{startsAt}}`
- `{{venue}}`
- `{{seatCount}}`
- `{{attendeeName}}`

### Track ticket sales

- The event's **Sold** tab shows **Orders**, **Tickets sold**, and **Revenue**, with each order's **Buyer**, **Type**, **Qty**, **Amount**, and **Status**.
- **Transactions → Tickets** lists ticket orders across all your events.
- **Reporting → Event tickets** gives you a report to export or schedule.
