Create a form

You can create a fundraiser, event, or membership form from Forms. The form goes live as soon as you create it.

Create a form

1. In the left menu, click Forms, then click New form. You can also click New form on the Dashboard.
2. Under What are you setting up?, choose a type and click Continue. You can't change the type later, but you can always add another form.

   
   

   
   
3. • Fundraiser: payments of any size, one-off or monthly. This is the most used type.
   • Event: tickets with a date and a limit per ticket type. Sales close when the seats are full, and each guest gets a scannable pass.
   • Membership: recurring dues in named tiers, billed yearly or monthly, with renewal reminders.
3. Under What are you raising for?, enter a Name and an optional Description. Contributors see the name as the heading above the amounts. Short and specific works best, for example "Fund the final push".
4. Check the web address. It is made from the name and looks like smartchange.app/f/your-form-name. You can edit it.
5. Choose the visibility: Public, Hidden, or Hidden Plus. See Form visibility: Public, Hidden, and Hidden Plus.
6. Click Continue. Under Starting values, set a Goal (optional, shows a progress bar) and Suggested amounts (optional). The form starts with $25, $50, $100, and $250. Edit, remove, or add amounts. Also let people enter their own amount is on by default.
7. Click Review it. To set amounts later, click Skip this.
8. On Ready to create it?, check the type, name, address, visibility, and goal. Click Add a cover image if you have one.
9. Click Confirm and create.
10. Want to add more to the form? Once it's created, open the form and click the Settings tab. There you can:
11. • Add a Thank You email.
    • Add Additional questions.
    • Add Designations.
    • Click Open the designer to design a custom look for your fundraiser. See Design your form.

Your form is live now and ready to take contributions. Click Copy link or Share options on the form to start sharing it.

Create a form with the Agent

Click Agent in the top bar and choose Create a new form. The Agent can set up a fundraiser, event, or membership. It asks you to confirm before it creates anything.

Selling merchandise? Stores are separate from forms. Find them under Store in the left menu.
